Police Search For Information About Bank Robbery Suspects

ARNOLD, Md. (WJZ) — Anne Arundel County Police are searching for information about two bank robbery suspects.

According to police, the two suspects robbed the TD Bank on Ritchie Highway South on Sept. 5 at 2:30 p.m. Police say one suspect approached the counter, announced a robbery and received an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot. He’s described as a black male, approximately 28-35 years old and between 5’10” and 6′. He wore a tan, floppy hat, dark glasses, a tan long-sleeve button-down shirt, a tie and khaki pants.

Police believe a second suspect may have been a lookout inside the bank. They say that suspect left the bank right before the robbery. He’s described as a clean-shaven black male, approximately 5’6″ and wearing glasses.

People are paying to play. It’s the fourth time this year the Powerball broke $300 million.

“People like to win big,” a store clerk said.

Milford Liquors in Milford Mill was busy all day, selling tickets to hopeful customers.

“The numbers that I’m choosing are my family’s birthday numbers. So hopefully we’ll win,” Thomas said.

The jackpot grew quickly after rolling over 10 times.
